Printing of polyester fabric with disperse dye

Theory: Textile printing is one kind of localized dyeing that is dyes or pigments are applied or discontinuously to produce various design on the fabric with a motif is one more colors and thickness is thickness which imparts stickness and plasticity to the print paste. So that it may be capable of maintaining the design out lines.

Recipe: Thickness preparation :

GUM ---------6 part
Water--------94 part
Total = 100 part

Printing paste preparation:

dye ------------------------ 2 part
CH3COOH------------------ 2 part
Carrier -----------------------2 part
Urea --------------------- 5 part
Resist salt --------------5 part
Glycerin --------------3 part
Thickness ---------------75 part
Water -------------------- As required
  • Printing
  • Drying
  • Steaming: Temperature = 100- 105°C
  • Soaping/ Washing: Detergent ---2 g/l
  •                                 Temp ----------70°C
  •                                 Time -------- 10 min
  •
  •
  • Washing with cold water
  • Drying

Function of chemical required:

Glycine: It is one kind of hygroscopic agent. It is increasing the moisture absorption. It is increasing the moisture absorption from air.

Urea: It is one kind of hygroscopic agent. It is increasing the moisture absorption from air.

Resist salt: It is one kind of surface reducing agent which is used to prevent surface selection, so that dyes remain in the fabric surface.

Sample:
Sample is attached below:-

Fabric type: polyester fabric
Dyes type: Disperse dye
Color: Blue

Conclusion: Printing is an easier process to bring various design in fabric surface.
