Study of Flat bed fusing process

There are two types of bed in this types of process:
  1.       Static bed
  2.      . Movable bed

Static bed: The bed is called buck and movable bed is called head. The upper side of the buck is covered with soft cover that is made by cloth, blanked and silicon rubber. The both surface of the buck is covered with such a cloth have cover of PTFE .

Movable bed: The component of the garment is spread on the first buck in a plane then interlining with resin is placed on the component. The switch moves head and necessary pressure be provided .heat is passed uniformly on the surface of buck. Next, scheduled time head is separated from buck by passing head & pressure. Then air sucker fan, which is controlled by leg switch, is used to cool the fused component. Temperature, pressure & durability of fusing can be controlled from the control panel.

The descending method of head over the buck is two-types
1.      Vertical action
2.      Scissor action

The uniform pressure is achieved with the vertical action of head. The pressure is controlled mechanically hydraulically or pneumatically. There are two or three buck in modern fusing press. Head controlled three of buck. As a result more production may be achieved. All kinds of fabric without pile fabric is fused & interlined by this m/c.
