Features:
Cutting head is nozzle movable but fabric stationary. A very
high velocity small diameter of water is created by applying high pressure
water to a nozzle. Generally water pressure is 60,000 Lb /
the high pressure jet acts as a solid tool
when it encounters the materials to be cut. Catcher collects loose fibres when
cut the fibre. Cutting head nozzle is driven by computer control.

Advantage:
- Very fast cutting operation.
- Not require to sharp the blade.
- The table is not cut as catcher is used.
Disadvantage:
- Not possible to fulfill the cutting requirement as water spot may be on fabric.
- Capital costs are high.
- Not suitable for cutting fabric of more lay height
- There is a danger of wet edges.
- The sound of jet may be controlled.
