Methods of Resin Coating

Using rubbing of resin or coating on interlining to produce fusible interlining. There are many ways of Resin coating, some famous process is giver hare

Scatter Coating : in this process resin becomes smaller size by using special needle or hade and spread it on main body fabric. When heat of milt resin is decries then rubbing of resin fixed on interlining. In this process size of resin become 150 micron to 400 micron which is bigger than another  process. This process is cheap but quality is less’.

Dry dot coating: Powder of resin is printed on interlining (dot print) by using angered roller. Then dot printed fabric passers though oven. For  heat of oven resin become melting and fixed up with interlining by press of roller. Temperature and presser are various for various resin in this process. The size of resin is 80 micron to 200 micron of dry dot process. Use small dot for thin fabric and big dot for thick fabric.

Paste coating: In this process powder became paste using water and chemicals. Then the paste printed on interlining as small dot size using a pattern. By applying heat water and chemicals are removing and resin is attached with the fabric, In paste coating process size of resin is 1 to 80 micron.  In this process  smallest dot of resin of coating is used.

Film coating: At first resin rubbing on interlining by film from. Polyethylene resin coating used in film coating process. Flexibility is less here.

Emulsion Coating: Resin powder turn into emulsion using water and chemicals. Interlining passes pot of emulsion and absorbed emulsion. Extra emulsion decreased by squeeze roller from fabric. Then the fabric passes through oven. For this fabric became dry and rubbing both side of fabric.
